Petersham Memorial Library Safety Protocols
Please do not enter the building if you, anyone in your household, or anyone you’ve had contact with has had a temperature or any other covid-19 symptoms within the past two weeks.
The library requires everyone over the age of two to properly wear (over nose and mouth) masks or face coverings in the building at all times in order to help ensure the health and safety of our patrons, community, and staff. Masks and cloth face coverings must completely cover both the mouth and nose without visible holes or gaps, and may not have exhalation valves or vents. Winter scarves, ski masks, or balaclavas are not safe alternatives. We keep our masking policy in place to protect our youngest patrons and our immunocompromised community members.
We ask patrons using the computers or restroom to wipe any surfaces touched using the provided disinfectant. We will provide hand sanitizing stations throughout the library for your convenience.
Curbside Pickup
For those who remain uncomfortable about entering the building, enjoy the convenience, or are unable or unwilling to wear a proper mask or face covering for any reason, outdoor curbside pickup will be available during operating hours. Library staff will work with these patrons regarding any additional needs.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this difficult time. It is our pleasure to continue to safely serve you.
